KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - mav2100 performs The Shadow Of Your Smile on Karaoke Showcase - It was eighteen years ago on the first of August that I first met my best friend Don Janson. He shared a couple backing tracks with me for which I was grateful. I thanked him in a private message. He replied with a You're welcome. Help yourself to anything you want. Henceforth, began a friendship that would change my life forever. He encouraged me to sing again, something I willingly left behind when I started my family at 20. I had a new purpose and dedicated myself to it entirely. The kids became teenagers and we got a computer and mom got to use it when the kids went to bed. LOL! This was the very first backing track I got from Don and one of the first songs I ever recorded. I am not absolutely sure, but it may be completely without effects on the vocals. It sounds very dry to me now I looked for the folder to remix it and it's gone. I do hope you can stand my voice without reverb. LOL!! This one's for you Don. Here's to great friends no matter how far away they are. WHen he ws alive he was 4,000 miles away and now I hope he can hear my dedication! Happy Anniversary, Don. Thank you all for listening. Love yas! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam P.S. WOW guess who's 94th. birthday it is? HAPPY BIRTHDAY TONY BENNETT!!!

Tex This is a sweet dedication and just a lovely sing. One of my all time favorites. It’s funny how we quit doing things we love. I did the same thing. I was so frustrated with the music scene I quit for almost 20 years. Glad I picked it back up. Loved it Pam.
Reply: Hello Darlin', Thank you so much for coming by Tex. You are so sweet to me. You would have been something huge if you never left the music world. I would have been buying your music for sure. You are much too generous. I sure do appreciate it very much. You are da bomb!! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam

Starlyter - Brad Friends such as what you had with Don are few and far between. I can surely understand you dedication all these years. I listened and my ears tell me that this is a perfect vocal. No extras needed my friend. Terrific for my first listen today. Really enjoyed listening to you on this...Brad
Reply: Thank you so much Sweet Brad. I do know he was a blessing even tho he was a difficult man! I guess he and I were a lot alike. Opinionated Gits! LOL! We could have fabulous fights about nothing at all. I do miss him. You are a wonderful friend as well, Brad. So supportive and always available for a fun duet. You are da Bomb!! I appreciate you very much. Don't change! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam

Cantstopsinging Your vocals are helping me through a stressful morning. I am listening on my tablet as I wait to be rescued by the plumber. You have combed through each note carefully. Again those clear low notes and you hugged on to that ending note.
Reply: Oh noooo not the wait for the plumber. Those and the cable guys are the worse waits. Thank you so much Joyce, You are always so thorough with you expert ear. I always love reading your sincere comments. You are the best Sis. Good Luck with that Plumber. When you are finished with him send him over I got some second floor issues. LOL! tell him to bring his cousin the electrician too. We can have a party!! LOL! I really appreciate you very much. Never Change! Mwahhhhhhhhhhh, Pam
