KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - mav2100 performs Lost In The 50s on Karaoke Showcase - The first time I heard this song was here on Singer's Showcase, sung by our beloved Lenny, May he rest In Peace. If you remember Lenny please mention Pennies 4 Lenny or P4L in your comment. Thank you, Lenny. Two weeks ago I heard it again performed beautifully by our own Sweet AbbyGail. Which reminded me that I have always wanted to record this one. Thank you Abby! Lo and behold I had a folder with the backing track ready to go ever since Lenny did it. LOL!! Talk about procrastination! Then Michel Subbed In The Still of the Night, which reminded me I was going to sub this. Thank you Michel! Do you see how many people are involved in a Pam Sub. It's a wonder I get anything subbed at all!! Released in July 1985 by Ronnie MIlsap, It is a medley of "Lost in the Fifties Tonight" written by Mike Reid and Troy Seals and a cover of The Five Satins' 1956 hit "In the Still of the Night". Needless to say, the real star on my version is that sexy fabulous Saxophonist! Please Marry me Saxman whoever you are? Thank you all for listening! Love yas, Mwahhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam

Jerry I remember Lenny well...we often communicated. It hurt to see him in that wheelchair...but he kept singing right up to his new beginning. I love this RM song...If one is going to be lost in music, the '50s is a great place to hang out. I love your warm and tender rendition girl...it's you're top shelf recording...Fabulous sing. What saxophonist? Where? lol
Reply: Lenny was so much fun. Well except for when he didn't win the Senior Idol! Another SS oldie but goodie.LOL! We are dwindling, Jerry. Someone left the front door unlocked and a bunch escaped. Thakn you so much for stopping by and for our stroll down SS memory lane together. We just missed Lenny's birthday on the 23rd. Happy B-DAY Lenster, wherever you are!! You have been missed. Thank you again! I really do appreciate you Jerry, Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam

BevB I remember Lenny. I even got to meet him once at a Karaoke Fling in Orlando Florida. He was a very nice man. P4L. You did a beautiful job here Pam. Loved my listen this morning. :)
Reply: Yeah He was always attending karaoke contests an parties. I knew you would remember him. There are few left on here from then. What are you drinking lately? I need a few gallons of whatever it is. You look 15 in that picture. So beautiful. Thank you for stopping by and for taking a trip down the SS Memory lane, with me. The fun we used to have and the fights we watched. Aren't fights like those on Pay Per View now? LOL! That was a lot of entertainment 4 your dollar. I appreciate U. Mwahhh Pam
