The song and its official music video received three nominations at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. Sheeran broke onto the music scene in 2011 with his first album and followed with his next album in 2014 and a third in 2017 titled Plus,Multiply,Divide, respectively. BUT, the two of you have taken his song and re-imagined it, the result is truly a pleasure to listen. Many congratulations Chet and Pam. A great friend of mine who is a KJ hosted a karaoke night in Sheeran's home town, which I attended (indeed, it was the pub directly adjacent the now world famous Castle on the hill). My friend joked that anyone turning in a request to sing an Ed Sheeran song would be first obliged to pay a £5 penalty, which would be donated to charity. Ed himself was not present at the gig, but his voice coach was and she brought the house down with her rendition of "Big spender". Great night.
