KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - mav2100 performs How Great Thou Art on Karaoke Showcase - Inspired to sub something gospel by Blue's wonderful song I decided to dig to find something. I used to have a practice of recording a song, mixing it with the backing and sending it to Don for his critique. He would always say "Hey a bit stingy with the reverb, dont you think?" To which I would reply "I think there is way too much". He knew as well as I did there was no effects on the vocals at all. It was our inside joke. He would tell me if I should redo it, or add some light effects, some reverb and mix it down. I sure do miss him so much. This is one of those above mentioned first takes. I am not sure where the finished product is. I am almost positive I actually recorded this one and added harmonies, but that was 3 computers ago. So here it is just me and Annes guitar and a couple violins. No FX and no echo. Unplugged if you will. We need a little God in our lives lately, I think. Thank you for listening, it may be a bit painful. I will stop subbing so much now. It's not like me to be on the page more than once. I can be a good girl! Please stay safe, stay healthy and most of all keep singing! love yas, Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam
