We all have those issues time and again. I think you sound wonderful. What program may I ask, do you use to record on your pc? Thats a Sweet high note. I used a long drawn out process but it gives me pretty good results. I record using my Canon XA30 video cam in AVCHD (BluRay). I offload the video mts file to my Pinnacle Studio 21, strip the long leaders off both ends and then export to an MP3 audio file. From there, if I need any post, I use either WavePad Sound Editor or Audacity. Like I said, long process but works great. Pinnacle can export up to 32o bit at 48K audio. I drop it back to 256 Bit.
