KARAOKE SCENE MAGAZINE ONLINE! - KaraTroll performs Red Roses For A Blue Lady on Karaoke Showcase - This song I performed live (together with a drummer) back in 1971! During my study time I had a lot of gigs which I normally did at Saturday, each lasting about 5 hours on average. It is a pity that the cassette tape recording is rather distorted, as I remember that the live sound was of much better quality. Yet I'm glad haven recorded several songs during these live performances and thus keeping their memories over so many years.

JoriAnselm That was a great song. You sounded good. I just wish I could have heard you a bit better.
Reply: Thank you for your listen and comment Jori. Yes it's a pity that the cassette recording is so distorted. I remember that I set the recording level based on some drumming beats before I began performing. I should have set the recording level significantly lower to provide more headroom to avoid the distortion.

mav2100 Thank you so much for the Red Roses, they are beautiful and smell divine. Happy valentines day to you too!! You sound wonderful on this live recording. Love the scatting. Saweeeeet! It's not that distorted for being that old and from cassette. Just sounds live to me. Adorable! Love it!! Mwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pam
Reply: Tnank you so much for your wonderful comment Pam! This is so nice of you to say and I do appreciate you coming here. And it's an encouragement that the recording distortion is not too large. I should have asked someone in the audience to control the recording level during the performance. So this is an example for optimism not always being helpful, haha! Kara
