I bought an Izotope Spire Studio! Man what a gadget! All of these instrumental parts were recorded by me and friends using the Spire... including the vocal which I used the Spires onboard Mic to capture. If you love recording just load a backing track into this baby and then add your voice and then add harmonies etc. Once you've captured them you can mix the volumes to your desired levels. Great song that I often perform with my friend Jan at OM nights...

Hello Dave, this is a great track and I salute your musical talents both instrumental and vocal. You mentioned iZotope, I started building my recording studio back in 2001, a couple of years before I retired from the road and was lucky enough to meet Mark Ethier at one of my shows. I told him about my studio and my plans with it after my retirement. Before he left he asked for my e-mail and 3 days later I received a lifetime sponsorship from him. I am blessed. ;-) |
Reply: Firstly, may I say thank you for your kind comments on the track, I have a better version now with percussion but I can't claim any musical ability as I'm just the singer. The other parts were added by muso friends along the way. Yes it's amazing isn't it the generosity of peopl? Sometimes when you ask for nothing and receive a wonderful gift!
