I guess you and Jerry are right, but strange enough I've never considered 'My Way' to be a sad song. Listening to it I always thought of someone proudly looking back on a fulfilled life, at peace and even pretty fearless of death ...Maybe I'm wrong, maybe one can interpret the song in different ways, I don't know.
