This is from an old movie musical, "Toast of the Town." I heard the song in "That's Entertainment" in the 70's, which had a short version of it. I've always loved it. I've been working on it a little in my voice lessons this semester. A few caveats - I've been working on it in a higher key. The accompanist I had play here couldn't transpose it, so it's in the lower key. Fine, but not as fun for me to sing. Also, he had lost his copy so I had to share with him, which meant I'm drowned out a little by the piano. Hope you enjoy it anyway! |
