Wildhearts: Hi Suzanne, I don't know the song that well, so I can't say much, but what I do know, is that you sound good singing it. Like how you held those notes. I think this was really good. Certainly gave me an enjoyable listen. Liked it a lot! :)

Talk about me, you always seem to make my day, girl, with those sweet comments of yours! It's funny, but when my daughter read/heard this posting her fist comment was, "This so cool, Dad, but I don't remember this happening, at all" - how could she, LMAO! On the other hand, this song brings tears to my wife's eyes because the memory is so ingrained in her mind's eye. TY so much for the listen and awesome comment.

Wildhearts: I am one who simply LOVES everything Vince Gill sings. He's one of my all time favorites and you sure picked a beautiful and great song from his collection. Ray, as I've said before, you have a nice voice, and what I like most, is that you not only just sing a song, but you FEEL it as well. This was a fine example of that! I think you did this song nicely and Vince himself would be proud! Lovely rendition :) ~Kathy

Wildhearts: For some reason, when I see "Country" I get all musically excited LOL! Actually, I didn't KNOW this was a country song? Just looked up on Wikipedia and says; The song tells the story of Nelson being booed off the stage at Madison Square Garden, seemingly because he was playing his newer, country-tinged music instead of the 1950s-era rock that he had been successful with earlier, and his realization that "you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself". Sure taught me something new! Well, YOU can sing "new" or "older" songs and I will still be a FAN no matter what! :) I am sure Ricky would be thrilled with your rendition of this song. :) ~Kathy
