Steven Kaplan: Just be thankful you don't have the Baltimore accent...LOL. The times I went to see family in Philly, and Baltimore as a kid, I feared catching that !
Reply: Oh the accent? Yeah I can mimic it Hon. But thank god I don't have it... just kiddin'! |

Steven Kaplan: Well, If I were not so familiar with Booker T, Lee Michaels, Billy Preston, and a few others in this genre (being a Hammond player myself), I'd applaud the likeness of the "knock-off" :ROFLAO:
Reply: A wise man indeed... Thanks.. |

Steven Kaplan: WOW, this was gorgeous. Almost sounded like a classic with some "Neville" flavor too it. I heard a few area's that would've been a perfect seque into "The sound of music" theme. You could've presented this as a two song ballad. Just a thought... This was gorgeous however... I don't think hearing you do this on my laptop really did the dynamics in this song any justice. I'm going to relisten. I understand how you tried to approach a culmination to this song during the last verse. I wondered if it would've been better had you accentuated the final "Climb every mountain", as opposed to what you did, which was to build to a forte' progressively in that last verse. Personally, I like what you did..Build up to a culmination on this song, rather than accentuate the beginning of the verse, Seriously, this was beautiful. I'd recommend you also attempt "You'll never walk alone" from Carousel. Also Rogers & Hammersteins "If I loved you"... These are pretty emotional songs.
