Song: Ill be

Debauchery: Hey! Glad to see you recorded another to share with us :) I always thought this was such a pretty song. You do have a gorgeous voice. Since you like this song, maybe you'll consider another of his... I can hear you doing 'I Could Not Ask For More', but instead you should try the Sara Evans version. Are you familiar with it? I have the backing for it if you need it and would be more than happy to send it your way. Just let me know. Nice work you did here! Sounds like you're getting the hang of this recording thing :)
Reply: Hi, sorry it took so long for me to reply. had pc problems. anyway, ty for the comments, and yes i would love for you to send the backing from sara evans.do you need my email addy? if so its @hotmail.com same name as here.hugs

Song: Talkin' Song Repair Blues

Debauchery: Never heard this one before, but it sounds like a fun song to sing. You sound like you're enjoying yourself! I like the "rapping" too. It made me smile. Nice work! Hope to hear more from your new disc. :)
Reply: Thanks for listening Deb. Talking "songs" or "rap" can be fun to do, especially after a long night of karaoke to give the vocal chords a rest! I have learned a few more from the new disk - it's just the matter of getting the time to record them and post. Jim

Song: The rose

Debauchery: Well, I think you have a very pretty voice... glad to have you join our "little" group (can ya tell it's really not that little? lol) I don't know all that much about mixing either, just that playing around with settings and experimenting with different buttons produces interesting results. You can learn a lot from some of our fellow members, if you'd like to, by checking out some of the threads in the forums. Lots of good tips and tricks out there to help you out. This is good "raw" regardless. Welcome :)
Reply: thanks so much for listening to my song. I love your voice as well, and i look forward to making great friends here at SS.hugs, Kelly

Song: As Good As I Once Was

Debauchery: Well, after playing the song chain with you a few times in the forums, I thought I'd come check out one of your subs. I heard this song on the radio the other day and thought it was hilarious. And then I saw the video. I'm not a real big fan of country music, although I'm guilty of knowing a lot of it lol. I do like this song though, and you sound great here. Glad I stopped in to check it out. Have fun at Big Mike's show. I would like to meet other SS members, but don't have a many near me. Nice work! :)
Reply: Hi Deb, Like in the video, I carry a bottle of blue M&M's with the "V" label on for a stage prop. One place were regularly go to karaoke has twins, so I'm waiting for my chance to walk out into the audience and try that out LOL. We travel quite a bit, so I will let you know when we come to your area. I am also hoping to see ChamJam this weekend when we travel to his city in Illinois. Jim

Song: Moonlit Stroll

Debauchery: I'm a sucker for piano music... used to play a few CDs a lot while I slept. This may explain why I can't use the music-setting on an alarm to wake me up. LOL... this was very interesting to listen to. I had to listen again as well. It reminded me of something you might hear in a movie where the main character is reflecting on something that happened in the past, memories flying by letting us in on why the character is so forlorn. Very beautiful indeed! You're really quite talented! Thank you for sharing with all of us.
Reply: Quite a few scenarios can be set to this 'eh? So far I've gotten, Horror, Heaven, Fairytales, and now reflection! I'm glad You enjoyed it! Thanks!

Song: Stay

Debauchery: This is beautiful! I sing a few of her other songs live, but always found this one to be kind of hard to keep up with. But you nailed it, completely. Your voice is gorgeous. I could listen to a voice like yours all day. Excellent work! :)
Reply: Thank you for commenting on that, I agree- it's very hard to keep up with the pace! I appreciate your kind words :D

Song: Elephant Love Medely w JESS

Debauchery: I've been reading here and there about you & Jess finding one another... pretty amazing! So, I thought that since I actually DO know this show tune I'd stop in to listen to the two "lovebirds". This is quite excellent, not to mention very entertaining as well. I agree that your voices compliment one another beautifully. This was superb work. Glad you decided to share with all of us :)
Reply: yup yup, we're very happy together! Thanx for the kind words!

Song: Phantom of the Opera wElisha

Debauchery: You and Jazzy?? Well, I'd have to say that's the two best possible mixes imaginable... I don't know Show Tunes very well. In fact, I don't know a lot at all, hence the reason I don't listen that often because I'm not familiar with it. But something made me click on this one. Now I've gotta see the movie! See what you've done!! LOL. Absolutely gorgeous, both of you... your voices are truly amazing. Listen to Jazzy and those high notes. Holy SMOKES!!!! And Jason, your whispery-talky voice is sooo sexy! Damn....
Reply: Personally, I think our version is better than the filmed version (and that is just my own biased opinion), mainly because they chopped a bunch of this song out, which really ticked me off!! Thanx for the visit hun

Song: Thunder Road

Debauchery: I had never heard this song when it was popular... but I remember Melissa Etheridge perfoming it on MTV's Unplugged WITH Bruce. I thought it was an awesome song... I then had to listen to the original and well, lyrically it's brilliant. Your voice fits perfect for this! Had never heard any of your subs, but had to stop in for a listen when I saw the title. You sucked me right in! Enjoyed this one very much :)
Reply: Thanks for the nice very comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the listen. Sunday, when I recorded this was the first time I had sang it since I was a kid. Still don't know if I've got the tune right! hahaha! :)

Song: God Bless the Broken Road

Debauchery: Gosh, you have a beautiful voice. How pretty! Is this the one that Carrie Underwood performed with them on AI (or do you even watch that? lol) I'm not a big country fan, and thought I hadn't heard this before... but it really sounds familiar. Either way, this was gorgeous. Really enjoyed my listen. :)
Reply: Yes, Carrie did sing this on American Idol, but I think in a higher key. Anyway, I'm not a huge country fan either, but my boss always listens to it, and Rascal Flatts is actually one of the groups I can tolerate. Okay, enough rambling. Thank you for your comment!
