birdofsong: Neat effects, Connie. I'm a big fan of the Supremes and really enjoyed this. I just recorded a Supremes song tonight that I'm going to submit shortly. Great minds think alike. : )
Reply: Thank you, Julie! Looking forward to hearing yours! :) |

birdofsong: I'm a big Beatles fan. I love this song, and I think the effects you put on your mic were great. It does sound like you put your voice through the paces. I'm going to have to go listen to some of your other subs so I can hear what you sound like without the effects. Thanks for posting this.
Reply: Thank you, Glad you enjoyed it. I have so much fun with my karaoke toys and actually feel humbled and just thankful when someone enjoys listening to something that I enjoy doing so much. ;) |

birdofsong: I like it when someone can take a song and really make it their own...that's a definitely advantage of being able to play. Vocally, I didn't think it was the strongest I've heard from you, honestly. There's a lack of consistency in your vocal volume, and I do think a little effects would be helpful to give you a bit softer sound. I did enjoy listening to you.
Reply: Thank you for the suggestions :) Yeah, I'm not going to be using any vocal effects, even if I wanted to, I can't really because my voice and guitar are on the same track, but the next time I record it to share, I will try to pay closer attention to my balance on the vocals. I'll also have to give it another listen and see if I can hear what you're referring to. Thanks again! :) |
