dale42: I haven't heard it yet. Yes, it's true... I'm stuck in the 56k twilight zone. :) But I read what you said about the echo, and echo is a good thing unless you crank it up too much. Don't know how much you've played with making recordings, but now that I have enough downloaded to hear it I think it sounds good this way. You've got a pretty voice. I like this song too. dale42: Roy Orbison was a once in a century talent. He wrote so many wonderful songs. It was a sad day when he died. I can't believe you can actually sing this! Most of his stuff covers too many notes way out of my little range - in both directions!

dale42: I read your comments at a couple of places around and figured I might see what you were up to, so I've come for a listen. :) I love this song. I've always thought it was the best from Ronnie Milsap. Hal David co-wrote it - one of my favorite song writers - and it's got his style for sure. I never fail to enjoy hearing someone sing this song, and you've done quite well with it. This is the most difficult of his in my opinion. So you should be able to sing his stuff without much difficulty. This is a very good performance. Much enjoyed it!
Reply: Thanks, Milsap has quite a range on his songs, and I have trouble with the high parts, But with this weeks themes I should find one or 2 I can do. |
