I'm a KJ at the two top karaoke hotspots in Los Angeles, CA: Boardwalk 11 and Cafe Brass Monkey. I spend a lot of time tracking down requests and scanning the charts and radio station playlists for updates.
Karaoke has been a major part of my life since my friend first dragged me out in the summer of 1996. My first song was the Pioneer version of Elton John's "Candle in the Wind". You never forget your first. Unless you were wasted. Which is possible. But you probably still remember. |
