anyone asked y'all yet to sing an AI song? It's coming.

When I really think about it, it shouldn't freak me out. So what if the original is AI, the human singing it is not. Right? But it's weird that a human is singing an AI song. But who knows--who knows how long AI has been in the music business, really, not just lyrics but instruments.

In-between karaoke, I was asked to play a song by an AI creator. I did. It's weird.

I sing an ai created song all the time, whether it's a home made song that I created that doesn't exist elsewhere or songs that I wrote the lyrics for.

I think the line gets blurry because once a human performs it, it becomes a different kind of collaboration. Do you feel any difference emotionally when singing an AI created song compared to one written entirely by a person?

I do the same thing Danny... and have been doing so for years. I like to do legitimate/serious lyrics, but also enjoy doing parodies a-la-Weird Al. My two most recent parodies... "I Call For Pizza" (I Fall To Pieces) and "Today, I Had To Gum My Food Again" (Today I Started Loving You Again). I like to sneak a home-made parody into the rotation every once in a while, just for fun.
