SongBoss has finally fixed their filler music player to make it work the way I need it to. The remote requests system has the que and history features that it needs. Only thing I would like to see to make it complete is the ability to send song requests that I don't have in my library so I don't have to have them come up to me and make that request. It has the choice of using a ticker, either on the top or the bottom of the screen that includes the ability to put a message for the singers, I advertise the remote request system. I've yet to try it out to see if the only thing that goes over the ticker is the message and not the singer's name and make use of the extra screen that shows two full rotations so that my singers can be aware of where their song in the next rotation is since it is no longer based on the order of the current rotation. The rotation operates in a first come first served based on when they put the song request in. If you are late getting your next request in you're not guaranteed to be in the same order as your first request. Actually saves me the hassle of trying to get a singer to get their next request in. If you are not where you are expecting to be it's not the host's fault. It's the singer's fault for not putting their requests in at the same time. If I get so many requests that it becomes unfair to singers who came in early in the show, I can lock the rotation so that after locking the rotation the next new singers get bumped to the next rotation intermixing with prior singers new singer old singer getting the old singers up sooner without blocking the new singers from singing.

Or so it's supposed to work. I have decided to go to the other software that works on Linux because I don't want to be stuck with the pain in the neck of worrying about forced restarts due to Windows update. At least with Linux I have a lot more control over that.
