Well he's done it again...check out Toby Keiths new single " I LIKE GIRLS THAT DRINK BEER" which was released tuesday on i tunes. Wonder how long it will be before this one makes it to karaoke?? Keeping my fingers crossed.

I thought more people would be excited about toby keith coming out with a new album ..maybe i was wrong...

Well figured he'd come out with a new album sooner or later but as for it getting to Karaoke without any good stateside country karaoke companies in business anymore it may take a while...somehow the European versions of country just don't sound right to me.

Not a whole lot of his stuff ever gets sung. Red Solo Cup had a short life, but quickly got dropped as a regular song. Not much else gets done nor requested.

These all used to be regulard songs, still get them on occasion, but nothing regular.

I got toby keith sung almost every night...one song or another...his new song i think might get notice since it contains two themes girls and beer.....well we will just hast have to see

I think the that is because of region, we don't get a lot of hard rock done down here in TX. but a lot of country. Same goes for GeminiMALE40 he's in KS more of a southern thing I think.

I get "I Love This Bar" now and then, but i think that is the only Toby Keith song I have ever had requested here is the Seattle area. I don't even have a legitimate copy of "Red Solo Cup" because it was never requested. I do have a version of it that KJBill sent me though.

Last night, one of my regulars gave me a short-sleeved, black t-shirt with a cartoonish drawing of a red solo cup surrounded by the words "PROCEED TO PARTY".

I ducked out of sight and put it on under my shirt, to be revealed a short time later.

During the song, I realized I'm am gonna have to write my name on the cup on the shirt with a sharpie.

I saw the funniest line the other day in regard to Toby Keith and his choice of lyrical subject matter.

"He should title his next album "Pandering"".

I wonder if Toby Keith thinks ...women and drinking are the only two subject matters that sell albums..I dont drink and Im not into women..so I rest my case......

Just for the record, "I Like Girls Who Drink Beer" is now available from SBI which means it will be at selectatrack and karaokedownloads.ca

I found the karaoke backing track on i-tunes and made my own. I might put it up on the Singers Showcase later today.

Still waiting for Toby Keith's "Get Out Of My Car" from either Tricera of Select. Available only @ buykaraokedownloads. I'd rather wait than download from their site (legality issues covered in the forum discussion).

To be fortunate enough to derive an income from a source as fulfilling as karaoke music has got to be as close to heaven as we can get here on earth!

If you can find the manu they actually use, you might be able to find a legit disc. Almost sounds like they bought the instrumental (available through Amazon) & made their own graphics as I haven't seen that one made by a manu yet.
