With all of the legal rhetoric thrown about of what we can, can't, should or shouldn't do, I'd really like to know...

Is it legal to breathe the air?

You have to inhale it directly from it's original can. You can't transfer it to a different container. It's like putting Pepsi into a Diet Coke Can. Bad voodoo.

Depends on who you ask, but only if you are standing on your head, breathing thru your left nostril while wasting a whole wad of one's to pay off the boogeyman

not really legal.
the FAA controls the airspace from the ground to 500ft, after that it is public airspace. a little over a year ago the FAA won the right to control all airspace up to 500ft because of the emerging fascination with private drones. you cna have it, but the FAA controls any space that it may fly in including centimeters above the grass. since they own the airspace, anything in that space falls within their rights (you must have FAA permission to fly those little helicopters they sell in the mall for $20) so following that thought, the FAA (therefore government) owns the air within it. without permission from the government (specifically FAA) you are stealing the air and breathing it illegally.
Hell, they sent a man to jail for catching rainwater on his property....the water that falls from the sky is from public domain (over 500ft) so he was charged with illegally collecting public rainwater for personal use and jailed.
welcome to lawyering

He wasn't sent to jail for collecting rainwater. He was jailed for building dams to impound groundwater without a permit. Dam-building can be a dangerous activity. Collecting rainwater is generally legal, but some states have rules that must be followed.

I think your details on drone laws and the FAA aren't correct. First of all, the FAA controls all US airspace, not just to 500 feet. You also don't need FAA permission to fly drones for noncommercial purposes, but your drone has to be registered if it weighs more than about half a pound, and you do have to follow rules for flying them.

Even better.. I built a 50 million dollar steam turbine facility in L.A.

The environazi contingent insisted the any rainwater drains be lifted 3 inches above "Grade".

The claim was, rainwater is ours, and you will not drain it simply because of safety issues.

So we ended up with standing water every time it rained, and worker injuries due to "Slip and fall" and tripping on those damned risers.

Common sense is not so common these days..
