Some of you may know that I create songbooks. I sell this service on Ebay. Anyway, we spoke in a different thread about the illegal hard drives via ioffer.com (also advertised on craigslist throughout the country)

I have had two requests on Ebay for more information on creating a book for their hard drive that contains 175,000 songs. Also, I went in to a competitor's show this week where she also was touting her new system that will be here next week. When I asked what kind of system, she said she had a new player coming that will play her new hard drive with 175,000 songs.

I then warned her that the karaoke cops are out in force right now across the country and she better be sure that what she is running is legal.

She never said a word after that.

So, those hard drives are out there! I just find it funny that my Ebay listing got little response over the past month, and then all of a sudden two hits about 175,000 song libraries and a local KJ talking about her new 175,000 song library.

The only way most of these pirates are going to learn that there ain't no shortcuts to getting rich is to have them busted and sued for what they have done.
