With all of the discussion about format shifting, pirates and penny candy, how about those Mets..

Of the two karaoke retail shops in Las Vegas, one seems to have a large stock of inkjet printed VCDs CD+Gs, DVD+Gs and assorted pirated pr0n material.. (In the back room)

I often wondered how they stayed in business so long..

Must be the margins..

while your here Chartbusters, i bought one of the closeout collections of the hot country hits, my june 2001 disk 110 is a burn and labeled from a laser printer. it is a regular TDK cdr. am i going to get busted for using a burn sent from CB? how can i tell the difference between a CB burn and a pirate burn at a karaoke store?

Rest assured we are fully aware of the exception in this special case.

Not to worry, it's mostly Filipino stuff, and since there are only two retail outlets in Vegas, and I found them in the Yellow pages, they should be easy to find..

(Hint: The legal one is on west Charlston, the other is on the east side..)

I'll be back in Vegas after Christmas and will look it up again..

OK... So Chartbuster is "aware of the exception in this special case." That didn't answer the question..... "how can i tell the difference between a CB burn and a pirate burn at a karaoke store?"

You won't have to. None of those discs were ever released to retail.

Chartbuster, I went by that place in my area and they are still selling as usual. Any progress on your lawsuit with them? Do you have any info about the Warner music lawsuit? Just like to know. Thanks.
