Which is smarter? Just sticking to making/selling karaoke, while people all over the world create software FOR FREE that helps you sell it, or trying to compete with them and keeping it a closed loop while you blow your money into an industry (software) that you(the karaoke manu) knows nothing about?

They aren't fighting piracy, they're turning piracy into a profit machine for lawyers. This can only lead to more piracy because the lawyers will not allow their profit machine to break down.

We will soon be living in a country where the lawyers out number the rest of the population, everyone will be a defendant in litigation, and the world will be void of common sense.

And for $14.99 a Torrent pirate can rent an anonymous, ultra hi-speed "Seed Box" server somewhere in the middle of eastern Europe. This computer does nothing but run a bittorent client 24/7 and is managed remotely via a web interface. When the movie torrent is complete, the pirate securely FTP's the contraband to his/her home computer without detection.

They are always one step ahead...

people who use public trackers are not known to use seedbox; only those in higher level private trackers. those that get caught are mostly those who use public trackers.

You guys better not discuss this stuff, you're teaching the PIRATES how to evade detection!

It's really not a big secret...Wired magazine has even written articles about the proliferation of Seed Boxes.
