A friend is offering to give me a laserdisc player with a bunch of karaoke discs. Should I accept it? It would just be for home use, I'm not a KJ. Just not sure if it would be fun for parties or if it's more trouble than it's worth. I've never operated one, but I used to go to a show that used them. The videos were hilarious!

I've recently been grabbing extra LaserDiscs off ebay, no harm in it if you want to have a sing for some older songs, nothing new post 1997 (or so) will be on Laser Disc but hey if it's free take it!
