hi guys/gals, I have a dilemma: wife is 100% convinced the only way to get good sound for karaoke is to use the setup her friend has, which is a Dtech DJ 59.1 (which I cannot find anywhere, but did see the DJ-60 on their website, which as others have mentioned here looks pretty "mom and pop"). Currently I have a behringer europower550 paired with JBL JBX212s in a 20x20 great room (open floor plan: big sliding glass door on one side and open to kitchen on other). Speakers mounted on stands at eye level and angled down (using the first hole in box). She says it sounds like the music and voice are "not connected" (maybe a language thing because she's vietnamese and even though fluent in english, I'm not sure I understand what she is trying to convey). mics are innopro wireless. I have tried almost all of the fx settings and messed with the eq and levels for each channel. We are using youtube as the source for the karaoke. I don't want to throw good money after bad anymore than I already have here. Thoughts, suggestions, opinions?
Thank you!
