I just bought a bunch of Chartbusters essential plus packs at Ace Karaoke today. I opened one of them up as well as two single discs I bought and the back of the disc has a green tinge to it. Almost like it's a burned CD. Everything was shrink wrapped and the disks are silk screened. Is this normal? I'm just starting to build up my collection and I don't want to find out down the road that I was sold pirated discs.

While you are probably good to go, I would check (call, don't email) with Chartbuster just to double check. CB has been issuing burns off and on for about the last four years. I have a few of the essential 450 sets where all the discs are pressed except for any of the revised ones which are burns and a lot of their disc's of the month are now burns. You never know if you're getting a pressed disc or a burn until you open it these days.
