HEY,
I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME DJ ING AND WANT TO MOVE INTO KJ ING I HAVE SOME GREAT EQUIPMENT(EV POWERED MIXER,15" EV SPEAKERS,GOOD LIGHT SHOW,SHURE SM 58'S). I PLAYED IN A BAND.

CAN I BUY A JVC OR RSQ DECK AND USE THE MIC'S I HAVE DIRECT INTO THE AMP OR DO THE MIC'S HAVE TO GO THRUGH THE PLAYER UNIT?

ALSO HAS ANY ONE BEEN RECORDING THE SINGERS ON TO VIDEO TAPE AND SELLING THESE TAPES? EVERYONE SAYS THEY WOULD LIKE A COPY OF THEMSELVES SINGING?

I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN AND MOSTLY DO BARS, IN WESTERN IOWA. BUT I DO WANT TO HAVE A GOOD SHOW. IF SOMONE COULD E-MAIL ME A GOOD QUALITY CORE LIST OF CDG INFO THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

Welcome aboard Big D.

Firstly, most people who are into this seriously, plug thru a mixing board/amp with microphone inputs. The player works okay, but it's honestly not built for it. It'll work, but certainly not professional.

Secondly, copying someone on audio/video data for entertainment purposes is STILL frowned on (against copyright) by the manufacturers. Doubt you'll find many people that will stand up and shout to the heavens, "HECK YES I DO!"

Thirdly, please type in lowercase... in bboard lingo, CAPITAL LETTERS is paramount to shouting! :)

as far as good quality core, you'll find we vary vastly in our opinions!!

Matt

You have a powered mixer - so plug you mics into the mixer & the player into the mixer.
