I've heard some of the Monster discs. Would rate them up (or down) with All Hits, Sweet Georgia Brown. Backstage on the other hand make REALLY good drink coasters.

Lonman pretty well said it. Monster sometimes comes up with some good ones, but ya probably need to listen to them first. Some are fine, others aren't - a lot like SGB. I have a couple backstage but probably won't go looking for any more. The quality just isn't there when you compare to other mfgs.

In our Arizona Office they have a "Monster" brand CD+G hanging from the rearview of one of the KJ's own trucks by fishing line. (It's a scratched disc.) I found it pretty neat to be a "monster" and not a "Sound choice"

Butch, Monster hits is head and shoulders above the cheaper brands and full body above Backstage.

Pluses:

On screen lyric timing marks akin to Sound Choice.

Rarely skip

Most tracks are great quality, Some of the early discs 1 - 10 need culling, Preview and pick the tracks.

I'll sing the Monster hits version of Summer Wind anytime.

As a side note- Monster hits Country female(I think #1001) has some great songs and good versions. My wife swears by it, and will not do any other version of 5 minutes, He thinks he'll keep her, and I feel Lucky.

Great country disc.
