hi,

I am going to LA on a business trip 2/21-2/28. Where would I find a good karaoke experience in downtown LA?

Mort,
here's how I do it..

I copy down the addy's on the club listings.. then go to http://mapquest.com

and locate them one at a time...  amazing how well it works.. when I get there I start verifying shows.. I have 2 - 3 ring Binders of shows.. across the country.. ( phill sorry I could make ya jealous..but most of them are probably gone by now  ) but that's how I do it .. I find out as many shows as I can in each city I go to.. and put them down.. but they change so fast and it'd be nearly impossible to keep up with them all. It's hard to keep up with Albuquerque alone.. 1 show closed here last night -- I hope it's only temporary. Just got called on it.

BTW I need to really update the club board for NM real bad I think that will be this week's mission.

KARAOKE DIVA >> CALL ME I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE?? :D

When I travel I have done what Brian suggests and it can work although it can be time consuming. Sadly so many shows come and go and change dates/times..But there are tons of great places in LA and the surrounding areas.E-mail me and I will give you some suggestions..Also Karaokescene magazine has the most up to date info. Ask if you can order just one for February..I don't know if you can do that (but it sure would be a great idea!hint..hint..to admin)..

By now, everyone knows where I like to sing, check out the Club Directory here on the Karaoke Scene site.

Address listings are there for you.
Phill does a great job on this section.
