Does anyone make a Karaoke machine with a cd burner? I use the karaoke system to make tapes for people but more people are mentioning that they do not have tape players but have cd players.

So I was wondering if there is a system that can burn to a cd?

Thanks

since the karaoke manufacturers have said that all recording of their music is a nono, nobody's ever come up with such a device, and probably won't.

Since I do not use it for singing but for therapy sessions that I record for my patients I am not worried about that. I was just hoping to find a compact device that would allow me to record to a cd.

As far as not recording their music the machine I use now allows me to record on one cassette anything that is on the other cassette plus whatever come through the microphone. Isn't that the same thing as if it recorded to a cd?

Thanks

You might as well get into PC recording.. most decent programs start at around $100.00.

and it's common programs from companies like Cakewalk.. and others.. which I found at Comp USA.. I thought they would never be retailed there.. but there is a "Home" recording version there, for close to that if you get the burning software. It won't burn karaoke.. but which I don't recommend anyway.. But cakewalk makes "Pro user" stuff too..
BUT.. it will record it. and save it for you on your hard drive.. and you don't have to be a expierenced engineer to use it either..
It's pretty basic.
