Karaoke Scene's Karaoke Forums :: CAVS JB-199 Player

I have a CAVS JB-199 Premier player that I picked up as part of a disc buy. It currently runs XP and has a lot of extra crap on it from the previous owner. I plan on cleaning it up and updating to Windows 7.

I have tested the unit and it works just fine. I did not get a count of how many tracks are on it, but I am happy to do so.

Anyone have any interest in this unit?

Be happy to clean it all up and configure it however you like if you are interested.

The JB-199 was usually loaded with Super CDG (SCDG) which was sold by CAVS.

I am going to try to generate a list of the karaoke music that is included with it. I will remove music that should not be there. The unit did not have any discs provided with it. I will contact CAVS on Monday to ask what was normally shipped on this model.

The one I posted about is gone, but I picked up another one in a buy a month ago. I have not powered it on yet to check it. But will do so today and let you know if it is viable.
