| Post subject: | How to dispose of Karaoke assets??? |
Dear All I am chairman of a VC fund and have to dispose of some assets relating to karaoke: a UK registered trademark, a domain name, Facebook page, a web site and software for an online karaoke game with a pitch analyser. Can anyone please suggest how I can dispose of these properties? Are there any technology providers who might be interested? The online game is a Flash-based system which allows players to compare their performances and so forth. the original company ran out of marketing money after making a considerable investment. We do not want the assets to go to waste and would ideally like to recover some of our investment. I am advertising on eBay, but I am not confident that this will attract the attention of people in the business. Any suggestions would be very gratefully received. Thanks all |

None of that's really worth anything except maybe the online game, and you are going to have a very small market of buyers for something like that. I'd ask the developers what they think it is worth, then deeply discount it. There's always a buyer if the price is right. |

Are the other assets all related to the game? I might suggest a 'fire sale' price to a company that's already selling karaoke products and is geared up to complete and promote it. |
