Here's my weekly contribution for Metal Monday. Ken wanted to hear me do more Iron Maiden, and this one left me in a collapsed heap on the floor! I tried recording this one probably about 5 or 6 years ago, but gave up because it was just too difficult. There's some long instrumental breaks, and only 2 verses, which is probably a good thing... because those 2 verses kicked my butt! LOL I added my own harmonies in some spots. Thanks for listening! |

Holy macaroni! This was amazing, Mark. You once told me that you like to sing difficult songs the best. You have proven here that you can sing anything, no matter how difficult. Your strong passion to sing makes the challenge extremely rewarding for you, plus you get to entertain all of us. Be very proud of this recording! Hugs! |

Hi Mark...one thing I learned due to 'MM"..that is NOT to tuck up my hair..cause what's the use..my hair falls down right away while listening to such music and songs..because of da head banging...LOL.....SUPER performance..oh yessss.....Johanna |

Oh but what an adorable collapsed heap ya were. Wow Mark how do ya do it? That is way up there. Amazing sing and I love the harmonies and backups too. This is a larger than life production and you have definitely earned yoru standing ovation on this one. Applause Applause from Chi-Town!!!! Standing O!! Excellent Mix also. You ROCK Mark!! You know what Mark? This seems like inverted classical gone wild..lol.. No wonder you went bonkers with it. You are one of the few people that piques my interest singing material such as this. Reply: Thanks, Joyce! This song was really hard. When Iron Maiden plays it live, the singer only sings the low notes in the harmony parts instead of the higher ones (a lot of singers do that, actually). But yeah, the high notes & fast pace can really wear you down. This one took a lot of editing. I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the props! *HUGS* |
