Wow Drea this is a sizzling sing & the song is freakin me out..it's really cool & I love your voice on this! Just awesome performance & the whole package! It probably helped singing until 4am to get that comfortable grit that you need for this song LOL Very much enjoyed! |
Reply: LMAO its just one of those "freakin' out" kinda songs isn't it. The late night of singing the night before definitely did help in a lot of ways...and being so tired made me kind of crabby so thats where the attitude came from. With all the takes I put into this, by the time I got to this one, I'd pretty much had it LMAO. I sure appreciate you listening and thanks so much for the comments!! :) :) |

I have karaoke sessions like that too with my girlfriend, Diane...we sing for hours :) .....Now this is really KOOL.....suits your vocals just perfect! .....You really shot those words out fine. .....Just like in the lyrics, you had ME tripping out listening to your GREAT sound on this....super enjoyed, Drea!....hugs :) ~ Cindy |

I'm going to get a good start on the new PC tonight though so hopefully I'll have it online tomorrow. Isn't that fun to just have a friend or 2 over and sing the night away? I love it myself. Reply: Oh wow your brothers is sick too?...I didn't know that. Big hugsssss to you!! As for the bands name they did take it from the medical term, edema, but changed it to an "A" instead. The band liked the way it sounds...go figure LOL. This band has been around since 2000 and this was off their 2003 album, but I honestly don't recall hearing a whole lot from them. Thanks so much for the awesome comments and I'm so glad you came to listen!! :) :) |

Reply: I stumbled upon this song one day and I loved it right away...imagine my surprise when I went shopping for karaoke tracks and actually found it. These guys actually have quite a few tracks available and I bought most of them so it won't be the last anyone has heard of Adema around here LOL. vettelady performs Freaking Out on Singer's Showcase of Karaoke Scene Magazine Online: vettelady performs Freaking Out on Singer's Showcase - Happy Metal Monday everyone!! I didn't think I was going to make it...I had an impromptu karaoke session with a friend last night that lasted till about 4 a.m. Needless to say, it left me feeling pretty tired and, as for my singing, well...its ummmmmmm not good LOL. Now this song is a bit different for me as it is rap metal...something i've never done before. This needed some serious edge which I had "built in" from all the singing the night before, but the control was just not there, especially with switching between angry rap and singing, and doing it all in one shot (all my recordings are "live"). There are a couple timing errors, but I just didn't have it in me to re-do it LOL. Thanks to all who listen!! Hugsssss, Drea :) :)
