Hi Folks...Here's a song many of you may be familiar with from the early 70's..such a pretty song by the Carpenters, I Immediately took a liking to it, very uplifting and after hearing Connie's Gorgeous Christmas song, I thought I'd share another Capenter's tune..recorded this one about 3 weeks ago, and was my first time attempting any songs by The Carpenters..hope to learn some more in the future...Thanks so much for your listens:) |

Reply: Hey Rush, Thanks a bunch!! glad you enjoyed my version of this Classic Carpenter's tune..It's a Great song...I recorded one vocal track, and I think I looped it a couple times and used some delay effects and panning..tried to get the mix similar to the original the best I could..I still have a lot to learn with mixing..It's all still a trial and error process for me,lol..anyways I sure appreciate ya stopping in for a listen and for the great feedback/comments:)~Hugssss |

Hi Sharon! I just had to come back later on this. Early this morning after work, I was sifting through the pages here and found you! I listened to the song, started to comment, and was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open! lol. I LOVE THIS!! I always did have a soft spot for Karen's tunes. Nice change of pace....although I still love your Allison stuff too! I've been trying to put out some better sound lately, but it takes me too long, so I had to go "Listen Only" to be able to throw in a song once in a while, and still come back for listens. Some days, I can't do any pc at all. It was GREAT to hear ya again!!! Have a nice holiday season if I don't make it back again. Hugs.......Perry |
