Reply: Hi Connie, thanks for coming by. One of the reasons I haven't been putting much out is that I don't have time right now to spend reciprocating listens and that's a fair part of being in this community. I've been so busy that I may be getting sick again, 12 hour shifts, two kids in school now, frisbee golf, softball, ebay, fantasy football, so many more things that take my time. I never get to relax, even with the things that are supposed to relax me. Oh well. Complaining is the other thing I do. |

Reply: Thanks Danielle! I'm sort of a creep myself (no slouch!) so I have to sing this one well. I think the thing that put me off of putting this one out earlier was the high part, which is a bit under my standards in a few spots. If you can do it better, why put out a version you think is shy of what you can do? Still, I did put it out and so I have to stand by it. It's good and I like listening to it myself (I can admit that) but I cringe just a little bit ina few spots. Thanks for the listen. |

Hi Jeff, like Cat & Mikey before me, I adore this song and when I saw it on the board, I made it a priority to come by.. Hot darn, this is one of your best.. this may sound off the wall but your vocals remind me of Buddy Holly gone alt.. Absolutely cool. You're right, iy is not radio play, it's too GOOD for that. Mr, I don't usually bother to rank because I think the system is meaningless but I am giving you a special 10 here...... You swallowed this song whole and digested it well..lolol... that's how much it's a part of you....Joyce |

oh man, i was so thinking of doing this one ...this is one of the coolest songs of "alt" time..i cant tell you enough how excellant your version is..this was absolutely perfect dude ! i couldnt find a good backing either and i was just about to do it myself acoustic..i have this live unplugged version of this and it is killer..what a kick ass job you did on this man..even the falsetto part rocked big time !! bravo !!! |

Well, time marches on so I am pulling this one off the computer and just throwing it out there. I'll try it again sometime down the line to see if I can do it a touch better. It's one of those songs that you like so much you want it to sound perfect. Sometimes imperfection is a plus. This ain't radio play.
