Hi Pete..It seems this song is interpreted in many ways. As I am listening, I hear your vocals more on the left channel? Sounding a little like Randy Newman. I think if the vocals were more to the center, they'd come across clearer. You asked for critique, so I put in my 2 cents.. Joyce |
Reply: Joyce: like a "painting", songs are indeed interpreted in many ways. I am trying some new recording mixing effects using some special "reverb" settings and I believe It must have undercut the total vocal upfront presence as RICH comments pointed out (low vocal). Right channel?(my aging ears just did not pick that up).
