Hello wgfinley....I am an Alice In Chains addict and have everything they ever did...I'll give you a real critique but need you to say ok first...I'll just edit this comment afterwards...or pm you instead if you can get messages....Just let me know in reply to this comment...Russ..EDIT .ok..loading bullets into gun...you are out of tune in parts of this song...Lane is one tough singer to follow cause of his unique voice...also, he singing with Cantril so its two of them...anyway...the first "wont you come and save me"....the "won't you" is off tune and you gradually get in tune at the end of the phrase....then "save my eyes"....save is off...my is on....eyes is off (flat)...and so on. You can best hear yourself by listening to the mix at very very low volume, or listen from another room...or listen on monitor speakers....some parts of this song you are right on...and I'm only saying this cause you have the potential to really do this song well...
Reply: As long as you're using headphone fire away, I hate how it sounds through the speaks on my computer!! Plus, when I listen to my finished product here from the site my vocals seem to be a bit hotter than I'd like, can't figure out what it is, maybe an EQ setting on my Quicktime plugin or something. Fire away though, I can hack it. |
