Doo Wop has used sets for $200. You have to call to get the deal though

Doesn't the Foundation 1 set only consist of a few hundred songs (30 discs times 15 songs per disc)? I believe the GEM set consists of 6,000 songs. I don't think you can compare the two, unless you are looking for specific songs from the sets.

The original foundation 1 has a good chunk of songs that did not make the gem according to SC. Does anybody know.

If they didn't make it into the GEM Series then they weren't that important of a Foundation as we were led to believe.

Or, SC just couldn't get the licensing permissions which they needed for those missing tracks.

I really don't think your going to add to much to your set since you already own the entire 8000 series of disc's.

With the later releases of the foundation disc's your just getting stuff that was still licensed, and the good stuff that was pulled you'll never get unless you get ahold of an original 1st edition of the foundation.

and some of the disc's had more than 1 revision.
