I'm trying to find a Karaoke of "I Dreamed A Dream", good backing track with lyrics, like the version popularized by Susan Boyle. It seems like in the US this is not possible??

I Dreamed a Dream is on several CDGs. The one I have is Pocket Songs 1016. IMO, it's an excellent version. I don't believe that Susan Boyle sang it any differently than the Broadway renditions.

Gemini, care to chime in on this one? Maybe you have a better Manufacturer version.

Maybe Michael can get it done at karaoke.net since they bought the Pocket Songs library.

In truth, this was my very first post at KaraokeScene, and I can tell I've come to the right place!

I'm already a regular DJ who takes great pains to provide good sound - the subs always come with me - not so it's loud, so it sounds full. Right now I'm just experimenting at home, but if I do start hosting, it is not going to be "just Karaoke".

I believe the version Susan Boyle sang the first time she appeared on Britain's Got Talent is identical to the Broadway version, except she skipped the first verse.

Gentleman, thank you. I'll be getting that CDG.

I think the verse you may be referring to is not on the Pocket Songs version. It is on a Music Maestro version (I don't know the disc number).

Most of the "Talent Shows" limit the time for any performer so they edit the songs to suit the requirements of the show.
