Remember! For this to work if you see songs someone already listed that you would also like to see - copy, quote it or re-write it. If a song is showing more interest & requested more than once, it will be more likely to be higher on a priority level!!

So far with my vote on Smooth's songs, there are 6 songs that have more than 1 vote!

i will repost any songs i recognize as my vote, but so far we are in a genre that is definitely the furthest thing from my knowledge base/fort

From what I know about your company I expect you to be the clear industry leader in short order (probably even sooner if you produce my list of requests).
I trimmed down my list to 15 songs:

American Music - Violent Femmes
Loverman - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Honey White - Morphine
Early to Bed - Morphine
Cities on Flame - Blue Oyster Cult
C'est la vie - Emerson Lake and Palmer
Joe's Garage - Frank Zappa
My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama - Frank Zappa
Montana - Frank Zappa
Zombie Woof - Frank Zappa
Powertrip - Monster Magnet
A Dream Goes On Forever - Todd Rundgren
Acapulco Goldie - Dr Hook and the Medicine Show
Roland The Roadie And Gertrude The Groupie - Dr Hook and the Medicine Show
Pretending - Eric Clapton

I will also add my vote to:
Passage To Bangkok - Rush
Another Tricky Day - The Who
Carmelita - Warren Zevon
Bleed The Feak - ALice In Chains
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Black Sabbath

Based on the lists and suggestions, I have a feeling I will be buying a lot more music than I had budgeted for in the coming year.

Never knew KV put out Lazy. Cool, new song to sing tonight!! Thanks!!

That is one of my favorite Deep Purple songs!
However, with a four minute fifteen second intro and a minute and a half outro with only a couple of short verses in between, I can't imagine the guilt I'm going to feel over singing it tomorrow.
It should have never been produced to karaoke, but I'm glad it was!

There are some AWESOME songs in that list of yours, matter of fact everyone is coming up with great songs!!! One more question.........will Party Tyme still be sold in Walmart, too?? It is nice and convenient.

We are slating the launch for Nov. 1 and will invite those who have provided their email address on the page an opportunity to use the site as a sneak peek. The songs on the 500 song list are in the production schedule and will be released as they are completed. So please bear with us when we launch that we will have as much up as possible and constantly release more as they are produced and or cleared by publishers.

Party Tyme will only press discs for sale in stores that make sense for that market. The ingestion and production of all of this content has always been intended for digital distribution i.e.. custom discs, downloads and streaming. So there may be a Classic Rock pack in the works or Broadway depending on what their marketing research dictates.

Taken from a post I put up on legalities thread:

Quote:
My apologies for the lack of clarity. As it has been discussed at length on this forum in other threads, the PRO/Alphabets are paid by the venues for the performance rights of the songs in a commercial venue. Our (Party Tyme) licenses grant us the rights to sell you the content for both personal and commercial use. These two subjects are clearly spelled out as such and we wouldn't bother otherwise.

So far the songs requested (and re-voted 3 times or more on) are:

Fear Of The Dark - Iron Maiden
Friend Of The Devil - Counting Crows
Jurrasic Park - Weird Al
Passage To Bangkok - Rush
Pull Me Under - Dream Theater
Roll The Bones - Rush
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Black Sabbath (although the All Star version is actually pretty good and HAS all the lyrics unlike the SGB)
You Can't Touch This - Weird Al (which I am assuming really means the parady - "I Can't Watch This" to the style of You Can't Touch This)
