I am looking for LEANING ON A LAMP POST, by the HERMAN'S HERMITS. I heard ans saw the screen at a karaoke show one time. would really like to have that disc !!!

There is no Herman's Hermits version I know of, but the George Formby version is available for download:

The instrumental track is being voted on for production over on Karaoke Version. I voted for it for you. You may want to wander over and vote for it yourself.

Was it zoom style lyrics? *they are very distinctive and always the same* black background with blue and white text.

if it was from Zoom then it was the georg formby version. If you aren't sure, then take a look at tricerasoft or some other site that sells their downloads and look for youself.

if not, someone could have made their own lyrics with the vocals removed but to the best of my knowledge no professional karaoke track by herman's hermits exists.

I have the disc by zoom its Zoom Jukebox volume 13, and has quite a few decent songs on it, in my opinion.
