Every year they do a set. The Mega Pack is one of the latest. I just got the 2017 one.

Check this out...

They do a box set for each year. The last one was for 2017.

But that's not an MP3+G set, it's regular CD+G discs you have to rip yourself if you wanted them on your computer.

I do recall the sets Lonnie was referring to though, but that was some time ago and a casual search just now didn't find any. They were even more bang for the buck as I recall, and all ready for just copying to a hard drive. Sort of like a 21st century "Foundation" kinda set I think.

It's really not that big of a deal to rip them yourself. It's definitely worth it. For me, it's no hassle at all. The only drawback, for those who care, is that you can't get the HD versions on the CD's. But all in all, these box sets are a great deal.

I don't care if I have to rip, that's not the issue for me, i'll rip all day long. However Zoom has not sold an mp3g set as Vinnie states since 2014, so I really don't know why he keeps pushing those as if they are still current. Everything that is still left in the pipeline most kj's probably already have most of what they already need/want and there will not be any more once those are exhausted.

Licensing for the mp3+G sets is about 8-10 times that of the same song set on cd+g.
I was trying to buy more Zoom mp3 sets and MRE sets and that's what I found out.

There is nothing "going on". In 2014 MCPS decided they would no longer allow licensing on this format so no more were produced. They are allowed to sell off any remaining stock of the ones that were produced.

So Vinnie get on that MCPS and tell them you want your mp3g discs!

No need, they altered the rules again at the beginning of 2018 so they can make them again. Only trouble is the cost of licensing now makes it "not economically viable" to produce the 100 track discs.
