Done.

How is that a "condition"?

You had your opportunity and rather than accept a verification from someone you trust, you choose to stomp your feet, throw a tantrum and demand a copy.

Don't whine that you want proof and then whine more about the way you want to get it. That's the sign of a spoiled little boy who doesn't like being told "no."

This is your problem, not mine.

If you really want a copy of your own (which is what you want), then get it from Harrington. He has the same paperwork in his files and see how far your "demand for honesty" flies with him. I'm sure he'd be happy to post that proof right here in the forum... just the way you want it. (not)

Now, move along because I'm done discussing this subject with you.

I have better things to do with my time than to search through archived files for you, Mr. Staley. Your claim, you prove it.

Nice deflection, but I'm not asking you to do anything for me....
You need to "control" your licensee, he's the one demanding a copy because apparently verification of proof from a trustworthy and unbiased third party is not good enough for him. I even let him pick the third party and even that's not good enough for him.

But for some reason, I knew that you'd come up with a reason not to accommodate even your own licensee that wants an ounce of the honesty and transparency that you demand of them.

After all, it's not like he's demanding to see your accounting records.

Unless you are pleading the 5th....

It's your claim to prove, not mine or his.

You won't prove it in the face of a request for proof, but instead demand that I prove it for you, telling me that I need to "control" Chris on a matter that I have no interest in.

Your claim. You prove it, or withdraw it.

I've already offered to prove it, that's not in question.

No, you're simply wrong; I was willing to provide verified proof. He decided he didn't want it that way... That's not my problem anymore, it's his.

And I didn't "demand" anything of you did I? Nope.
I simply suggested that he get it directly from you since you have it as well. Are you now denying it, deflecting from it or taking the 5th? I didn't expect you to lift a finger prove piracy and told him that. You simply confirmed it. Thanks.

Yep. My claim. My proof. My way. Period. Sorry if that upsets you, but if you want to swoop in and be the hero with your own copy, knock yourself out.

It'll be like watching you shoot yourself in the foot.

Unless of course, you don't mind me posting proof of piracy in this public forum.

All of the Sound Choice tracks for Red Peters songs are out there on the internet to be downloaded and there are none of the Chip Staley tracks available at the same locations. I wonder why that is? Apparently; no one is afraid of the big bad boogie man any longer. Even the GEM tracks are out there for the taking. So much for their top notch security.

I didn't demand anything other than proof of your claim. You made a PUBLIC claim that SC pirated Red Peters tracks. I asked you to prove it in PUBLIC. YOU then placed conditions on it (secrecy).

Prove it in public to back up your public accusation or STFU.

Public claim. Public proof. Pretty simple. YOU want to be opaque and secret about it.

Why is it that Harrington would be "happy to post that proof right here" but you want to keep said proof secret?

Translated - I don't have (@$%&#!) to show so I am just going to dodge.

Lie. You didn't say "pick anyone", you gave me a list of 3 people to choose from. (but somehow *I* have set "conditions")

Here is the timeline (if anyone cares).....

---------------

Chip made a PUBLIC claim that Sound Choice pirated Red Peters tracks.

I asked him to prove it.

He placed conditions of going through a 3rd party to provide proof.

All the while Chip claims I won't say anything bad about SC/PEP because I am a "controlled licensee" and I have a contract that prevents me from saying anything bad about SC.

So my counter-condition was *IF* he provided public proof in PUBLIC to back up his PUBLIC claim, I would also acknowledge SC pirated said tracks in PUBLIC.

Chip then accuses me of setting conditions AFTER he set conditions.

---------------

Which brings us to now....... Chip still making the PUBLIC claim, but refusing to prove it in any way other than in SECRET.

---------------

It's notable that there don't seem to be any PUBLIC documents of a lawsuit or settlement or anything at all regarding Chip's claim.

He also would not provide proof of digital watermarking of Red Peters tracks (which I PUBLICLY showed to be a lie).

I see a trend here.....

ALL of the Red Peters tracks are available through pirate sites. The "top notch security" of "digital watermarking" didn't stop anyone either.

Chris...NO ONE cares what you have to say. Seriously dude you STFU, not Chip.

Was a great debate/conversation until YOU interrupted AGAIN!!

Please let THE ADULTS TALK and go play in your sandbox or something.

Geez, you need more attention than my neighbors' 5 year old!!

I'm sure many forum members were enjoying Jim and Chips verbal jousting until you came along and ruined it. For attention. Again. Pathetic.

PLEASE just go away...........

I guess you know better places to find Chip's wares. I couldn't find them but found plenty of SC tracks for Red Peters. FYI. They're not the kind of stuff i sing anyway so it's really no big deal for me. I was just curious to see if Chip's tracks were easily obtained and was wondering if it would be just as easy to remove his water mark as it seems to be easy as pie to remove the Sound Choice trade dress and logos?

PROVE IT. Name the pirate sites and/or post snapshots, I'll wait.

"Public Claim. Public Proof." isn't that what you said?

By the way, the proof you seek from me is on FB....

Feel free to re-post it here and do what you promised... but be warned that when you do, (because your word is your bond, right?) it is a direct violation of the contractual obligations you have with PEP...

I'll get popcorn...

Don't sweat it Cueball, he has his precious "proof" on the fb page he can now do what he said he would do here....
(if he has the cajones).

He'll either do it or come up with an excuse, but either way, the ball is in his court.

It seems to me that if SC pirated Red Peters song then Red peters or the copyright holder should be suing SC. So has a lawsuit been launched and if not, why not. I'm sure Chippie would have been the first person to tell Red of this violation.

So Chippie correct me, what is your complaint about SC and Red Peters, if any.
