Karaoke Forums

When I went out for Karaoke on Wednesday evening, I heard from a fellow friend/KJ that 2 KJ's have been served with papers from SC. Both are PC run. He didn't know if anyone else was hit. One KJ has a library that is mostly illegal (loaded harddrive copied from other KJs), and the other KJ (as far as I know) has a legal library that he copied to his PC. I haven't seen or spoken to either one yet, so I don't know the full story.

I hope the manus are going to target the "non" big cities, lots of bad stuff going on there. One big one in our town including one of the venues they work for that was fully educated on pirating karaoke music and still chose to hire them. Just burns me!

I like quite music,not karaoke music.

If you get to talk to the one that is legit have him contact SC. They will set up an audit and he'll be on his way without it becoming public. Unless he's already made it public by complaining about the letter, he should have zero repercussions out of this.
