i don't think i am willing to go that far with it, but i see the point, and i bet it definately helped fuel the fire once it got going. karaoke exploded, some people saw a way to manipulate things to get more for less, and people are always looking for something for free, weather it's the host, owner, venue owner, etc. see a deal, weigh your options and risks, and until the last few years, what were the risks of getting caught? or of anybody caring? with technology what it is, the problem has exploded bigger than anyone could have forseen. giving SC the benefit of the doubt (did i really just say that?), i'm sure even Kurt said what the #?*! is going on? so not the cause of the problem, but a way for them to justify their thievery in their minds "they owe me" type crap
and Lon, i saw that, but that is not what i had a problem with. this makes total sense. 2 different genres, and not loaded with dupes from the past.
they did hit the mark this month, esp. with the country disk.
