Now for those who say there is no money to be made in a criminal prosecution you're not really correct. Though you will not get any money from that case, the evidence gleaned is a big boost for a civil case. Even if the criminal case is lost, there can be enoough there to win a civil case. Remember OJ, won the criminal case but lost the civil suit. In fact in the long run it's cheaper to run a civil case after the criminal case is done as the government has paid for the important evidence in the elements of the case.
