Does anyone know of a good on line store to print T-Shirts
and promotional products like key chains etc...
I've been shopping around for good quality shirts at low prices
and gift ideas for x-mas favors for my patrons.

Any suggestions welcome

Babs, you can check here, http://www.uniq-orn.com/

If you tell them that you know me, you might even get a discount.

http://www.1stoppromotionalproducts.com/  I ordered some pens on this site a couple years ago for my husbands business. I was very happy with the product and price.

My boss uses this site: http://www.branders.com/ .

This is my favorite spot on the web, I SWEAR ta gawd!

http://www.shirtwholesaler.com/

I used that site for my business t-shirts... haven't had any issues with the golf polo shirts... they wear well and have yet to have let me down.

Now I don't use their embroidery or imprinting service! Not saying that they're bad, I just never used them.

You can find those imprint shops locally that have the huge heat press things. I used to work for a laser shop part time, and loved the way they used a color laser printer and reverse printed on the heat-transfer paper!

For my business shirts, I went to a local seamstress shop, gave them my drawn design, they charged me $75. to have the design transferred to a per stitch embroidery... and then it was only six bucks per shirt to have them done.

Thanks everyone - I'll check out those sights.
I'm trying to redesign my monkey - I never really cared for
him to begin with. I may have to hire a graphic artists. I want
a cool monkey not a cute one, but I don't want him to look mean.
Aaaaarg! I wish I could draw.

I think I'm going to put the logo on the front - pocket area. Then on the back
it will say " Wanna Monkey Around? "

Why don't you scan it and email it to her. If you don't have a scanner you can use a copy store.

That would be a sight wouldn't it?

I have been thinking about this for a while. I have looked at many catalogs and tried to find the perfect product and haven't found it yet. I was looking for a product that may be music related and something that they would use, rather than just use it once for novelty and throw it away.

T-shirt seems to be a good product but tend to be pricey to give it out to everyone. If you find something that just works for you, please post it here. Thanks.

I'm afraid someone might mistake it for one of those butt copies people tend to make by sitting on the copy machine with their pants down... LOL

Just a couple comments....

Babs--why not hold a contest to design your logo?  I'm sure you've got to have an artist or two in your regular crowd.  Make it one more reason for people to be thinking about your show.  Give the winner a free shirt or jacket or whatever it is you decide to put your logo on.

When I first started out, I had bumper stickers  with my logo made that said "I sang with Big Mike Karaoke"  and then had my web address underneath it.

At the time I was posting pics of my singers on my website, so when it was a first time for them singing with me I put a bumper sticker in their hands and told them to check the website in the morning for their picture.  It was a great incentive for people to visit my site and the web hits were way up.  Obviously once they are there the point is for them to look around and see where else I play and all the other stuff I had on the site at the time.  It was a great promo item for me that really got things rolling.

I still have people asking me for bumper stickers and I haven't had any for a couple years now! A couple people actually even put them on their cars!

I'm also planning to have some tees made for my naked karaoke shows just to give to the people who sing at them.  They'll say. "I sang naked karaoke with Big Mike and all I got was this damn t-shirt!"

I'm sure they'll be worn with pride!

If you have a logo design contest, if you hate them all someone will think you rigged the contest.

I've been thinking about getting pens made up , and instead of the phone # just put hours of the show...

As far as Christmas favors, maybe if you could find note pads shaped like a mic, or monkey  :D , with your info...

I personally like the idea about a logo contest with your patrons-fun for them, helps you...

I had pens made through National Pen I think it was.  Got 1000 for something like $50.  Had the company name, website, email & slogan.  I do that once a year, it's actually about due again.

Another thing if you have a website, is cafepress.com   You can set up t-shirts, coffee mugs, clocks, etc. with your logos, designs, etc.  You set the price, they make them & sell them, you make a percentage of the sale.  It may be small, but it could add up that you get a nice little check for doing & buying nothing but a promoting on your site.

You could also get a decent printer and use iron-on transfers.  The wife and I do that, and give some shirst away fro promotion, and a few have been sold to.

You may also want to check out local print/promotion shops.  They probably can do things just as cheap as what you can find online (screen prints, posters, banners, stickers, pens, note pads, ect...)
