We're just about to receive a visit from the one & only George W. and his reception is not going to be too nice. Apparently his security forces want to cordon off central London to avoid his having to mix with the likes of us!
Any suggestions?

Yea - it made the news here. Apparently they're concerned about the demonstrators, etc. Sure am glad I'm not in the middle of that.

It should make interesting TV coverage over here. We're not a nation to be dictated to by anyone, let alone our allies.
Why come to visit a country if the country is not allowed to visit with you!
And I would love to see him at dinner with the Queen desperately trying not to eat peas with his knife!
What a plonker!!!
(Sorry, Republicans!)

George Bush met The Queen, and he turns round and says: "As I'm the
President, I'm thinking of changing how my country is referred to,
and I'm thinking that it should be a Kingdom"

The Queen replies "I'm sorry Mr Bush, but to be a Kingdom, you have
to have a King in charge - and you're not a King."

George Bush thought a while and then said: "How about a Principality
then?",

To which the Queen replied "Again, to be a Principality you have to
be a Prince - and you're not a Prince ".

Bush thought long and hard and came up with "How about an Empire
then?"

The Queen, getting a little annoyed by now, replies " Look Bush, to
be an Empire you must have an Emperor in charge - and you are not an
Emperor."

Before George Bush could utter another word, The Queen said: "I think
you're doing quite nicely as a Country".

Barry, Interesting sidenote to English Royalty. I work for Columbia University during the day, Columbia's original Name was "Kings College" and I've heard that King Edward? held the land lease in the 1700's and there is a copy somewhere on campus.

Jimmy. You wouldn't believe what our Royals still own today!

Try the whole County of Cornwall for a start!

I wouldn't mind being 10% behind them but I guess I'm just stuck with my 60 square yards or thereabouts!

All plans for Chicago are still underway so watch out. I'll be paying you a visit on route!
