Open Hoster and under tools click on detect drives. If your drive is compatible you will see "Yes" listed under Karaoke.

You could also try importing a disc and see if it is compatible.

If you have not purchased Hoster yet you can download the demo (free) copy and try importing a cdg.

If your drive is not supported you will need to purchase a Plextor External USB drive for your laptop to do your imports. You will get the best quality import from Plextor Drives. This is extremely important as you will only be importing your discs once so you should use the best you can. MTU sells plextor external drives that are bench tested. They are a little higher price than on the open market but they are pre tested and are guaranteed error free.

Good Luck

Hey Flipper , Thanks for the info. I have the latest version of Hoster,
When I click on tools it doesn't have "Detect Drives " as an option but it does show my drive as the default drive . I can play files that are already on my computer, but I can't play from cdg so I can't import new files...oh well Thanks again
