I have a pro star laptop, purchased from mtu about four years ago, I have used it 3 to 5 nights a week since, still working great except for the audio out jack broke the day after out of warranty, so I had to go to usb sound card which works great, I can not use the mouse built into the computer, it works I just can't use it so I had to go to a usb mouse which works great, when I purchased this laptop 40 gig was the largest hard drive, so I had to go with an external hard drive, I run 2 harddrives 1 for karaoke and another for dj music, so I have 4 items using usb...I have plugged them in and un plugged them thousands of times...now when I plug stuff in sometimes they work sometimes they don't, have to jiggle wires, switch plugs and on and on I guess I've put a lot of wear and tear on the inputs....how can I fix this? I purchased a hub off ebay, it has 4 inputs and ac power this did'nt solve my problem, maybe it was a cheapee paid about $15....is there a hub that might fix my problem......can you guys help me........thanks Ken |
